NCUR/URSS

On Friday April 4th 2014 at 3:50pm I gave a lecture recital on the opera at the University of Kentucky for the NCUR, National Conference of Undergraduate Research. I submitted an abstract on the opera with the help of student advisor Dr. Wiskus, head of the Musicianship Department at Duquesne, and it was chosen from more than 4,000 submissions to the NCUR.

I also submitted a paper on the opera to the Proceedings of The National Conference of Undergraduate Research, which means I will be a published academic author.

On Wednesday April 9th 2014 I took part in the Duquesne University 2014 URSS, Undergraduate Research and Scholarship Symposium. Where I presented an Academic Poster about the opera. I won the award from ACES, Academic Community-Engaged Scholarship, for Outstanding Community-Engaged Scholarship Project, and the award from The Mary Pappert School of Music. I also received an honorable mention from the Honors college for Outstanding Poster.
